Back to the Patch Round 1


Firstly, thanks anyone who play tested, graded, or commented on our project so far. We are pretty happy that Hollow Siege got really high gameplay reviews. It's a bit surprising since we didn't launch it in the most balanced state possible for the jam @.@ ... Though it seems like people  get the gameplay philosophy and ideas behind it. We probably would have done a lot better, top 100 Overall... if we got sound implemented. But hey! What can you do?

So what's next? That's what we are trying to figure out as well. And we could use your help with that. In the coming weeks, there's going to be 2 or 3 patches to the game.

 Patch 1 will release... well... like 30 minutes ago! It adds in difficulty options, lots of rebalances across the board, enemy behavior and spawns changed, and corn finally gets a 2nd tower that we didn't have time to implement. Please leave feedback in this comments section if you'd like.

Patch 2 will try to implement sounds to the game, rebalance things further based on feedback, potentially add a proper credits, and rework the help screen. 

Don't expect more towers or more levels or too much new stuff going on. This project's scope won't handle it. When Patch 2 (or if need be Patch 3) comes out, we do what more feedback though! We'll have a google form for anyone to fill out and leave comments on. Maybe it'll help influence our next project? Maybe we'll make a full version of this someday? Maybe another patch to make it longer lasting? Who knows! But we'd appreciate your support when the time comes. For now enjoy this!
